Four Portraits - All Signed - All Different

One each of Michelle's four most recent portraits will go to winning essays in these categories: Most Historically Accurate (for the film buffs); Funniest; Most Sincere; Most Unusual.

We'd show you what they look like, but they are all copyright by the photographer (Dan Golden), and are solely available at shows and conventions where Michelle makes personal appearances.

The four we have were gotten at Dracula '97 in L.A. It was Michelle's idea to sign them and make them available to those fans who can't make the trek to see her live!

We will give copies of the contest submissions to her as we do her fan mail.

The New Lombard

Here are more rules: The best entry for each category will be judged by the Webmasters of The Picture Palace (AKA PicPal), whose decision may be imperfect but will be authoritative and final. Entries will be considered in terms of clarity, completeness, and appropriateness both to the chosen category and the overall theme of the contest. This is not a writing award, but we would appreciate complete sentences and some proofreading. Both the two fields for name and email address must be filled out correctly. Both the two fields for category and essay must be filled out, but there is no minimum or maximum of words. Entrants can file more than one entry. Any submission that overloads the server or cannot be processed by the cgi/pl script will be disqualified. Your entry will not be confirmed. A last check will be made of all registered entries sent before midnight, July 25, 1998, and the decision made and posted as soon as possible afterwards. Entrants agree to accept sole responsibility for following international copyright law and other intellectual property rights attendant to communications on the Internet regarding quotation of material by other artists. Acceptance of any prize will constitute permission (except where prohibited) to use the respective winner's name and/or statements for publicity purposes without further compensation. This contest is open to anyone worldwide of age eighteen and over. Employees and their immediate families connected with the producers, distributors and promoters of Michelle Bauer films and videos are ineligible. All international, federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Void where prohibited by law. Entrants agree that sponsors and judges of this promotion shall not be liable for losses of any kind resulting from entering PicPal's New Lombard Contest or from acceptance and/or use of the prize or parts thereof.

No purchase necessary. Prizes are guaranteed to be awarded, but can only be sent if a valid winner responds with a mailing address within two weeks. Entries remain property of entrant. The Picture Palace is not responsible for blank, incomplete, misdirected submissions, or entries not received or inaccessible due to human error, conditions on the Internet or online service providers. Illegible (garbled) or incomplete email will be disqualified. Submitting an entry constitutes granting permission to PicPal to use entry online or in outgoing email without further compensation.
