Bruce Lee: The Lost Interview

Late in 1971, after Bruce Lee had completed work on his first film (now known as "Fists of Fury"), he and a Canadian journalist videotaped an interview for Hong Kong TV. Back then there was only black-and-white television equipment available, but Lee blazed through 30 minutes with his own colorful style! Lee had already been featured as Kato in "The Green Hornet," but lost the lead role in the "Kung Fu" series that went to David Carradine. He talks about those experiences, the celebrities he taught martial arts, and his early days in the United States. He also demonstrates Tai Chi and tournament fighting techniques, to explain his philosophy on the martial arts. This is the only English language video interview with the legend, in top form!
30 mins., B/W, direct transfer from video master, $19.95

Dragon and the Cobra

The Leo DiCaprio of Hong Kong The latest and most flagrant example of a misleading use of the phrase "Collector's Edition" is the newest version of Dragon and the Cobra, a mock-doc that only shows "star" Bruce Lee in a fake flashback (really one of the movies he made in childhood, redubbed)! There's nothing new about the movie itself; though this reissue adds on that Hong Kong interview previously available separately for $19.95 above... Coming soon!
Radio and Television Hong Kong (RTHK) are on the Web now.
