(1978) A mindbender, which started out being a real documentary about the European tradition of "official" or state art and the execution of Torpinon le Brun (for inciting an assassination attempt on Napoleon). Once de Sade fan Klossowski influenced Ruiz, things started to unravel into a fictional art history course, comparing a series of painting which "point" to a certain place of convergence. It's the perfect spot for a missing painting...which remains beyond description.
